ON LOCATION WITH “SONG OF HARMONY”
The studio scenes of Director Y. A. Yuen’s “Song of Harmony” have long been completed and now the maestro adds his finishing touches by shooting outdoor scenes in the suburbs of Kowloon. The leading players, Shek Hwei, Chang Tseng, Loh Tie and King Sarr all joined the team and the film is now nearing completion.

長城新片，袁仰安編導的描寫青年男女婚姻問題新型喜劇——「鸞鳳和鳴」，內景部份早已拍攝完成。最近，片中主要演員石慧、張錚、樂蒂、金沙等，由導演袁仰安率領，到九龍近郊一带拍攝最後幾場外景後，全片即告拍攝完竣，現已轉入黑房剪接工作階段，不日當可與海外觀眾見面。本頁各圖為拍攝外景工作进行时情形。

LOH TIE - A MATURING ARTIST
Thanks to the care and training of GW, Loh Tie has become one of the most outstanding actresses among the “new finds” in the movie world. She is maturing in every respect, acts with dramatic talent, and is sure to have a very bright future. Her being selected as the leading lady of “Suspicion” further proves that she will soon establish a firm footing as a great star!

回眸淺笑，萬種風情
在長城片場中，大家都愛把樂蒂叫作「小樂蒂」，當她最初出現在長城片場的时候，年紀輕輕的，羞答答的样子，就如一颗香扇墜儿一般，叫她做小乐蒂，的确是贴切的。可是，這兩年來，小樂蒂好像長得成熟起來了，演起戲來，對於風情萬種的角色也應付得过來，和最初在「絕代佳人」片中演侯可肩那个时期，已经迥然不同，記得有人在一篇文稿裡，便說她：「天生兩道美媚的眉彎，韵味天成，眼角眉梢，无时不盈溢一股浓烈的风情，教人销魂蚀骨.....」，你看，用到這樣的字句去描寫她，可不是已經比嬌憨、柔媚的小樂蒂時代成熟得多了嗎？」
不错，樂蒂是成熟了，不只在外型方面，就是在演技方面，也成熟了許多，同時，她底戲路也跟着廣闊起來，最近，在新片捉鬼記中，她便正式担綱演起女主角的戲來，她飾演李梅英這個角色，戲很重，需要表現非常複雜的內心表情，例如：在一場戲裡，她便要飾演一個不高興不喜悅的新娘○
乐蒂饰演这个新娘，穿一身古老的红裙大褂，鬓髮如云，耳边还插着一大朵红艳的鲜花。不久以前，在拍另一部新片《鸾凤和鸣》的时候，乐蒂也做过一回新娘，摆过一同喜酒，那时的酒席是设在一家富贵人家的豪华府第里面的，到来举杯称贺的都是社会上的体面人，不论中式也好，西式也好，半数以上是穿着晚礼服来的。○我们的新娘乐蒂，也是一身尺度适当的华丽晚礼服，那时她也不很高兴，一面笑影很快就给乌云掩盖了。这天看见她在《捉鬼记》这部新片中，又一回饰演新娘，依然是不幸福、不如意的婚姻，看起来，真不禁使人感觉到异常的巧合！乐蒂在自己实际生活中，还是一位“居处无郎”的“小姑”，在这两部片中，要表现出遭遇到不愉快的婚姻的少女底心境，那便需要有很深刻的内心表演，才能应付得来的。长城当局敢于把这样吃重的角色派给她去演出，当然是知道她底演技才能已经达到能应付裕如的境界了。
对于乐蒂底演技才能日渐提高，作为爱好国片的观众来说，这是值得高兴的，但愿她能更珍惜自己底艺术前途，多费点功夫去潜心修养和学习，则将来她底前途是无可限量的。
捉鬼記
乐蒂饰的少妇李梅英，是闹鬼的华厦中的女主人，她原来有一段不白之冤，是个身世凄凉的被害者，行凶杀人，并不是她原来的本愿。

SUSPICION
We reported on GW’s new film “Suspicion” in our last issue. This picture is now nearing completion, which is sure to make another box-office hit. Mainly a detective thriller, Director Wong has given much thought to the “ghost scenes”, resulting in a most breath-taking sequence which, combined with the masterful playing of the leading stars, will make this a most promising picture. Loh Tie gives her most outstanding performance in this film. So watch for it and watch for her!
長城公司的新片《捉鬼記》，已經在上期刊予介紹過，這部片子開拍以來，攝製工作進度迅速，至今已完成大部份鏡頭，在不久的將來便可全部完成。
因為這是一部含有偵探意味的恐怖片，顧名思義，在片中便有令人毛骨悚然的鏡頭，有兩場鬼魂出現的戲，導演黃域把它要理得非常緊張和恐怖，幢幢鬼影，駭人心魄，使人幾乎透不過氣來。○
樂蒂在這片中，發揮盡她底優秀的演技，飾演一個被迫害的少妇，父親被人杀害，自己被仇人逼婚，后来手刃凶徒，昭雪父仇，而家中又闹起鬼来，要表现那种复杂的情緒，是不容易的，可是乐蒂演来，对这个角色的个性，却很能把我得住，的确是难能可貴。
